Ask the tough questions. Really.

Welcome to your weekly time to focus on YOU, and the Positive Psychology pathway to your best, most authentic, most fulfilling life and work.

We’re almost done with my introduction to Positive Psychology, and why you should trust it as a path that’s worthy of your valuable time and energy.

Ask the tough questions. Really.

We’ll be delving into the PERMAH element of health. That is, focusing on the many aspects of your physical wellbeing, including mindful eating, physical activity, and better sleep. (Sounds like a great way to relieve a bleak winter, doesn’t it?)

But first, let me explain what Positive Psychology ISN’T. And let me just say – you’re smart to view any so-called panacea, or cure-all, with suspicion.

We women are the target of an avalanche of products, potions and programs, all marketed in a way that exploits our most vulnerable and private insecurities. People make money – lots of it – off our feeling lousy about ourselves. We are absolutely battered, daily, by messages for products that will make us younger, thinner, more productive, richer, prettier… more “perfect.”

Positive Psychology can’t do any of that. (Sorry.)

Positive Psychology isn’t actually a panacea. It’s just an evidence-based framework and scientifically-supported set of personal skills that require work on your part to develop… but which are shown to have lasting, powerful benefits.

Positive Psychology is a path. You have to do the walking. And where we’re headed isn’t “perfect.” Instead, it’s AUTHENTIC.

I am so excited to get started on this journey with you!

Keep going, keep growing…
