Hi, I’m Margie – a career and leadership coach for women and professionals looking to balance their ambitions, responsibilities and wellbeing.
My mission is to empower ambitious women to LEAP Forward into authentic leadership and fulfilling careers that honor both their professional aspirations and personal wellbeing. Through coaching rooted in positive psychology and behavioral change expertise, I guide professionals to unlock their full potential, create lasting impact, and design lives of purpose, prosperity and joy.

You’ve done the work. But you’re craving more than just success.
You’ve climbed, delivered, and led, often at the expense of your energy, your voice, or even your joy. You’ve held space for everyone else, and now you’re wondering:
What’s next?
How do I lead without losing myself?
How can I feel aligned while feeling accomplished?
You deserve clear direction and deep fulfillment. That’s where I come in.
I spent 25+ years leading HR teams for Fortune 500 companies, developing leaders, shaping strategy, and honing what really drives human performance. But as I guided others, I found myself longing for something deeper: a life and work rooted in purpose, well-being, and alignment.
My journey as a certified career & leadership coach, positive psychology practitioner, and behavior-change strategist helped me see leadership differently. Emotionally sensitive? Strategic thinker? Natural connector? These are strengths to be harnessed!
These are some of the hats I’ve worn:
Business leader
VP in HR for several Fortune 500 companies
Global diversity and inclusion leader
Professional coach
Positive psychology practitioner
Adjunct instructor at a women’s college (University of St. Catherine)
I’ve helped individuals inside Fortune 500 environments, female executives, emerging female leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals juggling career and life responsibilities.
I know what it’s like to feel like your voice is too quiet, your energy stretched too thin, or your purpose getting buried beneath your responsibilities

My Journey Into Coaching
I’ve spent my professional career as a senior human resources executive for Fortune 500 companies. I’ve accumulated prestigious certifications as well as a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science.
I’ve been honored as a Top 15 Business Woman in Illinois – National Diversity Council. I’ve also received the following awards: Role Model Award for Mentoring and Team Development, People Development, Unsung Hero, and Humanitarian Award.
I wanted to do more. I wanted to pursue my dream of helping other women succeed in their professional lives by becoming a certified coach, with training in positive psychology and wellness.
So that’s exactly what I did.
I Was a Perfectionist....
I’ve done a lot of internal work to get where I am today. I entered the professional world shy, lacking confidence, and suffering from perfectionism.
I did what others expected of me, instead of trusting my own instincts. What others thought of me became more important than what I thought of myself, and I wanted to do all that I could to live up to those expectations.
As a single mother, I not only wanted to raise three sons, but also advance my career, explore hobbies, and further my education.
Something had to change to make this all possible, so I researched, worked with coaches, and developed the LEAP Forward framework.
I developed healthy habits and removed toxic relationships from my life. I created hard goals and refused to leave the outcome of the future to chance. Optimism and authenticity became central tenets as I evolved into the person I was meant to be.
Now, I help others take this journey. My clients come to me with questions like, “Can I grow my career while raising a family?” and “How can I find my purpose?”
I’ve made my share of mistakes, but each one became a lesson that shaped who I am today. Now, I use that hard-earned experience, along with my skills and training, to help others navigate their own path to empowerment.
